Hi All,
I am new on this forum and new on Kodi. I installed a Kodi on my VU+Solo 4K. I running on Openpli release 7.0. I added Kodi from plugin app on Openpli and the only available version was Kodi v 17.6 by Krypton.
I found some tutorials but I cannot follow them because my Kodi looks different. On left menu that starting from Menu-->TV Shows etc I don't have addons as in the tutorial. Any suggestions why?

This is the main reason why I am here I want to learn. I need to know what I am doing wrong and how to correct it?

Well this will depend on what addons you want to install?
If you want to use a build?

Personal opinion, I would google Kodi addons, or builds, read tutorials on how to install on Kodi 17.6, then try it and if have any enigma2 specifics then be easier to help you.

I say this, as there is millions of threads/tutorials/posts on google regarding addons/builds (depending on what addons you want?) which will benefit you from watching.

I not sure if you understood me correctly. I know how to add addons and I watched and read few manuals. The problem is in the menu. I attached the picture. On left side I should have "Addons" submenu but I don't have. All tutorials showing that I need to select it but I don't have it!

Go on cog
Interface
Configure
Enabled it
And hide any sections you don’t want

Thank You. This was very helpful. Now I am on next step. I want to add PVR add-on. On a tutorial I have, it is showed to open addons and choose from the list PVR version. I search it and I don't have any PVR's on my list?

PVR addons don't work on Vu+ as Kodi uses Enigma2 external player and not internal player.

Only boxes running a Hiliscon chip have internal Kodi player via Hiplayer patch.

I attached two pictures. First from tutorial second from my box. Are you saying that on my box I will be unable to run any PVR at all?

Read what I put above.

You can by running script in telnet

opkg install kodi-addons-meta

But as above it’s all via external player, which normally results in no playback.

If it’s for simple client, would just run your Iptv in bouquets via suls, Kiddaxs jedi xtream or xtream editor

Well they don’t work even when installed anyways, so wasting your time.

But if insist try

opkg install meta-kodi-addons
Or
Variants of that, can’t actually remember to be honest as they don’t playback.
