OpenPLi 5.0 master danny187 custom build

New Gstreamer - 1.11.0 (please see below on setup instructions)


FEATURES
New Gstreamer 1.11.0 (compared to my other backups)
Kodi 16.1
Timeshift enabled
Service app with exteplayer3 and gstplayer installed
iptv player pre configured
SkyQ by chabs with SkyQ preview picons (in usr/share/enigma2/SkyQ)
Sky.New by chabs
Openmultiboot
Scanning and epg all set up

JUST FOLLOW THE BELOW

First things first.

1. This is a big backup image in memory wise, but does flash fine and runs well.
2. Set up your usb / hdd asap after flashing.

After flashing I advise you setup a USB or external HDD as first point of call. (as in straight away)

Menu - setup - system - harddisk - INITIALISATION - do that. THEN
Menu - setup - system -mount manager - press menu - change mounts to MEDIA/HDD then OK to save - then restart box.

!!! SCANNING AND EPG !!!

Uses AUTOBOUQUETS MAKER currently set to scan CUSTOM LONDON at 04:00am, just change your region.


EPG IMPORT is set to populate at 05:01am,however set to RYTEC SAT UK so easily to do manual if needed.

Kodi 16.1 (r05) is installed already
- mount your hdd/usb as mention in opening comments.

Menu - Plugins - OpenMultiboot - enter plugin
Press BLUE when in plugin which brings up a menu
I then scroll to 7 which is fix mount on OpenPLi THEN
I then scroll to 4 which is enable multiboot

I could do, but I am going to wait until I can compile it within image from scratch on OpenPLi.

16.1 is fine anyways, infact on most images its still 16.1 RC officially in plugin feeds.

As for PVR simple clients, no as no backend tuners currently.

If you wanna use for IPTV, use playlist loader within Kodi or add IPTV to bouquets.

Hi danny187,installed your image,but i need dvb-usb-turbo driver for my solo se box,but when i try to install it i got alot wget errors from your feeds

Unfortunately I do not have the box no more and the build environment I do not currently have either

Its a nice simple image, so maybe could look for ipk for it? if you wanna use it for a while.

This image no longer has active plugin feeds.

Image should be fine with what's installed and/or if you install stuff by ipk.

Quite an old image now so might be worth trying something more recent then. As such I am closing this thread unless Danny wants to have it reopened?
