28,2E: End of VIVA UK TV, start MTV Love

Viacom International Media Networks (VIMN) has closed another VIVA TV station. Today, the British version of music and entertainment television for young VIVA UK has ended.

VIVA UK also broadcasts serials and movies next to video clips. Broadcast has been broadcasted in the European satellite satellite Astra 2E (28.2 ° E) and a seamless reception was also possible in the Central European region.

On the site of VIVA UK, a new paid station named MTV Love was launched, which focuses on romantic video clips. It is not yet clear whether this is a permanent channel or temporary rebranding of a new VIMN program.

technical parameters - formerly VIVA UK, now MTV LOVE:

    • Astra 2E (28.2 ° E), Frequency 11.895 GHz, Pol. V, SR 27500, FEC 2/3, DVB-S / QPSK, CA unmentionable encryption system used by STY TV

VIVA is gradually leaving individual markets. It first ended in the Polish and Hungarian markets. Now the British version has ended. The VIVA program is now only available in German-speaking countries. Unfortunately, the German, Austrian and Swiss versions of VIVA are broadcast only for a limited time - from 2:00 to 14:00. The Comedy Central entertainment and comedy station is being broadcast at the VIVA station for the rest of the time.
