The Sky UK satellite pay-TV operator at 28.2 ° E encoded the time-shifted versions of Quest and Quest Red. Both programs are broadcast in the European Astra 2E and Astra 2G satellites and may have been encoded.

Quest and Quest Red without time shift continue to propagate uncoded (FTA). They have also become part of Freesat UK's free satellite service, which offers access to freely broadcast programs. The Quest and Quest Red channels, with no hour shift, are however distributed in the British bundle that covers the British Isles and the surrounding area.

Quest Channels (+1) and Quest Red (+1) are Discovery Networks documentary programs.
