help please vu+duo I have just flashed open bh 4.4. I have component baluns fitted over cat cable to 3 other tv's all the other tv's are working with sound and picture when connected but black and white picture tried everything but still got b/w on all tv's obviously with all tv's being b/w the fault lies with the vu box checked and double checked all wiring it's ok, messed about in the a/v settings but still not found a solution can anybody suggest how I should configure the a/v settings to get my picture back to colour . thanks jcl

Thanks for your reply DD plugin ( sent it to dcc tmp and installed )certainly has changed things a little bit I now have a tinge of green over the picture (green faces)
There is nothing wrong with the baluns or cat cable the picture in black and white is absolutly perfect but no colour so it is something in av settings or open BH doesn't like baluns and they will nor work with this image.

tv in the lounge is conected hdmi lead so no problems there the vu sits below the lounge tv.
out of the back of the vu component to balun green blue red then audio out right and left.
from the balun individual cat cables to each of 3 tv's there is only one cat cable connected to this balun at any one
time if I want to watch vu in a different room I just remove a cat cable and plug in another to a different room.
this is quite simple to do. the balun at the back of the vu is mcmelectronics model 50-7722 these same baluns are also
at the back of each of the 3 tv's individual cat cables go from behind the vu in walls and under floors to the 3 tv's I am talking
about and I can switch manually quite easily to any room I want by just unplugging one rj45 and replacing it with another.
all these connectios worked fine when I had bh 3.0.2 (i think it was) but after decorating throughout every thing got
disconnected and when all was reconnected I decided to try a later image open bh 4.4 so these baluns have worked fine
before. none of the wires have been damaged because they are in trunking behind plaster and under floors clipped to joist

tried with an earlier image and one of the tv's conneected came on in colour then flickered and went to black and white
so fiddled with the jack plugs on the balun and found a dodgy connection pulled off the cover to have a look and the jack plug departed from the wire, ordered a bag of new jack plugs so I will change the ones on the baluns and whilst I am doing that I will
replace all the rj 45 connectors if that doesn't fix it baluns will be binned. will post when all done

all working again now cut all original phono plugs off the baluns and replaced all 15 off them and cut all rj45 connectors and replaced them so don't know where the fault was but it's not there now, can now start configuring the box
