Hi, this is my first post (not including my introduction post) as i only joined yesterday.

Over the last couple of months i have purchased my complete dish system. I only need to buy a receiver now and i want the latest VU+ 4K. My question is... I am thinking of moving home in the next 12 months so will it be wise to wait on buying the VU+ 4K? I am not sure on the release of newer models.

BTW nothing has been installed yet.

Thanks for any advice.

If the 4K meets all your needs now then I think it still will even then.

The way technology evolves makes it almost impossible to make an absolute future proof decision but, as with all things Vu+, features will also evolve to keep pace.

Unless 4K real takes off in the next few years I can see most Solo2/Duo2 owners still able to fully use their boxes well into the next decade.

That is a good prediction in my eyes with regards to the older VU boxes. I guess that if i buy the 4K box now it may be outdated next year.
