Information:-
Hello,
Just built myself a new PC, from a CyberPower original. Before I go into the parts I installed, BEWARE! When removing an Asus P6X58D-Efrom the original Cooler Master 690II, I had to unscrew 5 or 6 motherboard mounting screws with pliers, YES THATS RIGHT, PLIERS! These were cross threaded and of course completely ruined the original motherboard stand-off posts. Anyway new parts installed:
Asus Maximus VIII Hero,
Intel i5-6600K,
Crucial Ballistix Sport 2400x8Gb,
Asus Dual Series GTX1060 6Gb,
Corsair Hydro H80i v2 Liquid Cooler,
Original WD1002FAEX-00Z3A HD,
Upgraded about a year ago the PSU to a Corsair CS850m
Kept the Blue-Ray/DVD re-writer and the second CD/DVD re-writer.
Overclocked the CPU to 4.5Ghz and pretty chuffed with myself. Surfing is a breeze, gaming a lot better, and loads windows and shuts down quicker as well.
