Just saying about password
robijay and hello there
All the backup images i try from lane:
have all the same passwords for login in to image settings like root and vuplus-images , Saves me from keep changing password settings for each editing program
robijay looks a nice backup I'll try later

You can change the password to whatever you want via the "passwd" command within a Telnet session.
To do this you can either use DCC or VUCC or direct connect from a windows command prompt (if you have Telnet enabled).

how do you install the keys?

Push key into keyhole.

Keys go in to an EMU specific Key File (eg: softcam.key) which is then copied into the STB's '/usr/keys' folder for this particular image.
