great work as usual guys - just wondering if you'd share how to get the scrolling vfd event text used in this backup?
everything I find on google seems to relate to very old versions, or are image specific (and not BH).
learning loads as I go with this great box and setting up as best an image as I can to roll out to family who have invested in one also after seeing mine in action, and think this is one of the best uses of the vfd I've seen.

That is scary.

I have also just reinstalled this image to update it and sorry to tell you it flashed perfectly for me. I know this doesn't help you work out why your flash reverted to 2.1.7 but I assure you I'm not just fobbing you off.

I can only think you must have somehow mixed up the 'vuplus' folders or something similar because noone else has reported a similar experience to yours.

So can only suggest you try again with the updated version I have now added in to #1.

If you had previously created a backup of 2.1.7 maybe without being aware it will be on your HDD so check there for any vuplus folders as your box can be flashed from HDD.

You are right......... just format the hard drive and flashed with dirtydonki Blackhole image......all was working perfect till i download new meytrix skin from addons stuck on bootloader image...lately this happened before with other image some reason duo2 dont like meytrix skin anymore...when i had openvix image nearly 6 months with same meytrix skin never had problem.....box acting weird.....thanks all your helps

Be carefull with skins, because not every skin will work with every image. Thats why you find skin sections for every image here in the forum m8.

You are right......... just format the hard drive and flashed with dirtydonki Blackhole image......all was working perfect till i download new meytrix skin from addons stuck on bootloader image...lately this happened before with other image some reason duo2 dont like meytrix skin anymore...when i had openvix image nearly 6 months with same meytrix skin never had problem.....box acting weird.....thanks all your helps

because it already has the Metrix skin installed. If you wanted to change the look & feel or add/remove parts then the plugin is also there for you to do so.

Though I respect BH images very much the amount of restriction built in has always been the downside for me. For tinkerers like me it's just too restrictive.
