Hi, great image. still cant load TS media. It installs fine does through ftp and telnet but when its launched it crashes the box. I have tried this several times and still crashing. Any suggestions welcome

Anyway i have a problem as i looked for software update and it found updates installed them bit then it will hang on boot logo and no start so i had to reinstall again and stay like it was. Can you plz let me know if you have tried the update on your side and if working ok can you let me know how to sort it out? Once again thank you for your great job.

Hi rubiks, no i have not tried the latest online update as i no longer have this running in flash but will have a look when i get the chance.

Ok i have flashed then did the online update without any problems, could free space be your issue?
Try uninstalling anything you dont need then try again.

If you go to the metrix openstore in the plugins menu you will see it there under skinparts but i cannot remember the name of it or check right now sorry.

The sky skin is installed you just need to enable it....
Menu -> Setup -> System -> Skin

Store your picons on usb as there is not sufficient free space with this image.
Where do my Picons Go

Installed this image and tried to update (presumably to 3.0.1F) using menu->setup->software management->software update. After the update it requested to restart, however every time the restart failed. I tried three times to load this image then update, on two occasions the restart stuck in "starting" but never finished and on the other occasion I got a green screen/restart loop. Am I doing the online update wrong, or is it not possible to go directly to 3.0.1F?

Yes it is possible to update online, i have not tried but will flash it & try myself & let you know what happens when i get time. If you look back to post 44 you will see another user had the same problem.

You can edit them using Dreamboxedit or simlar tool like E-channelizer or load your own dedicated settings.

There are also a variety of ready settings posted on the forum to choose from.

Thanks for reply sorry but how do I do it using dreambox edit --yes I have used it before to send files to my box but not sure how to do delete do I load image onto box first or ftp files in dbox edit click on send files to box can you please advise me thanks mial

I cannot get cable where i live to check but try using Rytec Vermin UK XMLTV instead of cross/opentv epg option & it should fully populate.
