VU+ PC Tools & Editor Support Cannot Telnet connect.

Help!

Yesterday I could connect to my VU+Solo2 via DCC and VU+Toolbox, now all I can connect to is ftp in box. Searched and triple checked ip address and mac of vu all correct in DCC and VU+ Toolbox. Connects and drops Telnet connection. I have tested my network at the vu+ and all is OK, green ticks beside everything. Using OpenVix #37 backup.

Anyone any ideas??

Reboot box & try again?
Correct passord? If SuperTux's back up it should be 'vuplus-images'.
Service running and set to autostartup on Solo2?

Can you telnet manually to the box? (i.e. from a cmd box on a windows pc 'telnet xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx')

Many thanks GateKeeper, I have just sussed it out and as you say 'vuplus-images' DER! call me dumbo. I remembered I upgraded the image yesterday and DCC and VU+ Toolbox still had the old passwords in them from previous Images.

Dumb or what???

Didn't try that from cmd box

Dumb? Not at all. Sometimes bouncing stuff of each other works wonders and that, IMHO, is what we are all here for.

The more 'C' whoops, mistakes I make the more I am learning, trying anyway. Just wish the wife would get her head around BlackHole or ATV. Still I was amazed that she bought a Kindle and then a Tablet. Things are looking up. When I couldn't telnet connect, her words, "Go through all again and you'll suss it".

Can Admin close this thread please? All OK, must remember password triggered Images well I was for a while
