You can move the files to your pc then play/convert there or look at transcoding to another device depending on which vu+ you have.
There are plenty converters available, below is a link to one of the better free options.

I have a mediaserver using plex, I found that TS files aren't very efficient, a 2hr HD film can be 6+gb, I have been using Hanbrake to convert to MP4 Hevc, can be time consuming but saves space on my hdd's.
