Ha, you guys must live on here :) I do not have Cross EPG installed and Im guessing I am missing a few other things as well as I set up the image as new. At least when complete I will have a decent backup. That explains why I am struggling with the EPG then....I will go find this now. Thank you once again.

No we don't live here but it is a good place to hide from the other half:lol:
You will find crossepg in the system section of your plugin menu buddy.
 
Many thanks once again. One problem I hit is when I get to the CrossEPG - Open TV providers and press the Yellow (Download) button I get CrossEPG error: No valid NIM found. How do I fix this? Ahh I may have found it. I hit download and then went back and its allowed me to continue....

I have spent a whole day on this today and part of last night so I know what you mean about hiding....Im going to have to pay back big time haha.

Connect via telnet & enter the following,
Code: 
init 4

Extract the attached file & ftp it to /etc/tuxbox overwriting the existing satellites.xml file.

Go back to telnet & enter this/
Code: 
init 3

All should be good now.

Fixed 28.2 dish and Motorised Dish 80cm

Tuner A DVB-S2 single simple 28.2

Tuner B DVB- S2 advanced 7 satellites with long and latitude set, using USUALS.


crossepg not working .

help needed. have i configured tuners correctly.

CrossEPG 0.81 does not work well on OpenPLI i have attached 0.62 which does to downgrade send the attached file to /tmp & enter this in telnet,
Code: 
opkg install -force-overwrite /tmp/*.ipk

However a better option for this image is to use xml import, if you remove crossepg then install Xml EPG Import & Rytec XML Sources from the plugin feeds you will have no problems with epg. I did just that the other day in this backup image.

Ihave the same problem like Adrian with Epg. I have reflashing the 3.0.1 image based on Pli et my flash rom indicate now 87% , it's good but after loading (at 4.30 gmt every day) epg update by crossepg, the box stay in " veille" and no restart with remote or button press on the box.This image is very nice, fast and complete.

I'am French so excuse me if my explains in english are not always clear. May be a conflict between crossepg and them in principal menu ?

I think you mean BlackHole?
There should be no shortage of free space after flashing OpenPLI, the latest BlackHole release seems to have alot of problems at the moment so for now i would disable automatic updating of crossepg & just do a manual import when required.

Dear all,
I just installed the latest balckhole 3.0.1 image on my solo2 and I configured the CrossEpg and once I start the download it takes more than 1 hour and still running now.
Is it normal or there is something wrong ?

Depends on the number of providers you have selected.

Configure opentv provider...activate Sky UK ....make sure you have nothing selected elsewhere...then download...takes max 5 minutes
also make sure you are downloading to USB or HDD ...not root
 
I have problem with CrrossEPG on openvix 4.0.003 . XMLTVIMPORT works well with rytec.
Whats the cause? I have free ram but crossepg stuck with rytec.
It s impossible to remove crossepg because of enigma2 dependencies.
How to purge crossEPG?
 
I have vix 4.1 003 and have no problems with crossepg on my solo2.

What box do you have?
