This is a known 'feature' of DCC which one would have thought the developer would have fixed by now as it is no longer compatible with more recent versions of Windows but I think the developer no longer works on this tool.

The only way out of it is to use 'Task Manager' or minimize it and forget it is there as it will be closed when Windows is shut down anyway.

You are using wrong version of DCC. Version 1.41 works fine.

1.41 appears to work OK. All other versions above it appear to work until you change the password. Then, like all the other versions I've tried, it fails and can only be closed via Task Mangler. So exactly the same as 1.50 & 2.95 for me. The problem can be temporarily resolved by deleting the ini file and starting again. After doing that it closes as normal again until you try to set a different password. If you then revert back to using dreambox it works as expected again. So it appears this is being caused by a password change and it doesn't seem to matter what is used either.

....and with that as the only solution appears to be to use 1.41 :closed: :mutley:
