I recently upgraded to a DUO2 from a DUO, the new box has worked fine for 2 weeks, this lunchtime I switched channels and the audio was extreamly loud for around 1 second before returning to the normal level. Although, the audio was then distorted, switching channels again high volume for the initial 1 second and still distorted. That is with the audio via HDMI, so I tried the rear audio phono connections into a surround amplifier still distorted.

I am running Blackhole 3.0.2 j on 28.2 Astra.

All channel audio is distorted both encrypted and freeview.

Has anyone else experianced this?

I have on rare occasions experienced similar & found a full power cycle normally clears it for me.

Thanks for your reply. Yes I have now had it powered down for around 30 minutes and restarted with no audio issues. However, this is obviously a fault with the unit or the image which should not need a power down to resolve. I will be contacting VU+ UK with this and see what their response is.

I would try the audio tool if that makes scence to you, it can be found in the addons and it may help, if no joy to fix your audio levels then a simple remove it.
I have never had this problem but it may be a solution.
