LCD Support duo2 lcd4linux won't let me use picons

?hello i bought a duo2 last week i have been trying to set up the lcd display with lcd4linux when i press the green button to save changes and the exit the lcd screen goes back to fonts only it wont show the picons on the lcd screen

i am running a iptv stream all picons are on a usb

the first pic is of the lcd4linux menu

the second is the lcd when i exit lcd4linux it stays like that for about 3 seconds then gos back to photo three

and the third is fo what stays on the lcd screen

for some reason it wont let me use the picons or is it because i am using a iptv stream

hope some one can help been at this for best part of a week now

  1. LCD type is incorrect. It should read 'Internal TFT screen'.
  2. Set the picon path in the settings.
  3. IPTV channels will not normally have picons assigned so you would either have to find some or add your own custom ones. You can also add a default picon but that would show up the same for all channels with missing picons.
  4. If you only want to see the 1st screen then set screens used for changing to off.

Thanks for getting back me

the problem is when watching iptv no picons show just the clock or date on lcd when watching a sat / dish channel you get picons on the lcd
lcd4linux thinks that iptv is a media player and the reason i say that is you can only set up the iptv on the media player section of lcd4linux i done what you told me last night but no joy
i have even used config files which will shoe all the fonts / channel name clock weather ///// put will not show picons
i just hope there is a work round
but thanks for getting back to me

Hi, is it possible to enable picons on IPTV channels?

Or use a template lcd4linux

use reference picons and should be working if IPTV channels have such a referece

works with stream type 5002 exteplayer3

lcd4linux assume the channel mode "on" to use picons and all functions in this mode

actually it is service reference know as : 1_0_19_1B1D_802_2_11A0000_0_0_0
