Using the latest VIX I'm only getting 24 hour ahead EPG display. Please advise of a setting I might be missing or a Plugin or addon that would give me 7 day EPG

Advice gratefully rerceived.

What importer are you using and for which provider?

Thanks for responding.

Being a bit of a PC illiterate oldie I'm not quitre sure what you are wanting. By "importer" do you mean the VIX program or??? The provider of signal is Australian Optus from satellite D3. This, and 7 day EPG is received successfully by my Duo2 with VIX and, AFAIK the setting for the Solo2 are the same re EPG so why one Vu+ receives the full 7 day and the other oinly 1 day is baffling.

The Solo2 has VIOX 5.,1.033 on board. The other info is -
Drivers 2018-03.19
Kernel 3.13.5
G Streamer 1.13.02
Python 2.7.13
E2 (re)starts 10
Skin VIX-Day-ID (1270x720)

I'll attach to photos showing other detail.

I tried Black Hole and got the same result - only 24 hour EPG so it looks like there is some setting, or some plugin/addon needed or incorrect.

Importer means the plugin you use to get your EPG. For example are you using CrossEPG or EPG-Importer?

In the screenshot of my plugins list below you can see I use EPG-Importer:

Yes I have that set up as shown in the attached files and cannot understand why I'm still only getting 24 hours of EPG. I changed that setup shown in the attachment to exactly the same as the Duo2 but it made no difference - still only 24 hours of EPG.

Perhaps sources are not configured?

Open EPG-Importer from the plugins or main menu & hit the Blue button.

You will then see this:

Select your choices & don't forget to hit Save.

Then do a Manual for today. Once done hit Save & your troubles should be over. :ok:

Looks like this is the problem. The "sources" are all overseas Rytec ones, which appear to have no relevance to the Australian broadcasts on Optus D3. So can you suggest where I might find the appropriate source?

POSTSCRIPT: This all makes no sense. I just checked out the Duo2 that is receiving a 7 day EPG and the "sources" are the same as listed in the Solo2.

So, if both Vu+ units have the same VIX and use the same plug in, why will the Solo2 only show 24 hours and the other shows 7 days EPG?

Using FTP go the directory /etc/enigma2 and examine the files settings & epgimport.conf on both boxes, here you should be able to see any difference in configuration between the two.
