Image Flashing Support firmware update

Hi any advice please. I am struggling to upgrade my vu+ solo box. The box is not a clone. Any advice on best firmware to use and how its done. I used an 8g stick loaded up openvix and plugged into front usb slot on box. Once I turned the box on the red light never flashed just went to green and stayed that way. What am I doing wrong.

Which is the best image is impossible to answer because we all have different tastes. For what it is worth I always use OpenSpa & have done so for nearly 30 years.

How to flash? Your manual should explain this. Else Tutorial section has what you seek.

How to Flash an Image to a Vu+ Receiver

To install a new image, you need a USB stick formatted to FAT32 (formatting can be done on a PC or similar).

1. Download the desired image zip file for your model.​
2. Extract the zip file. There will be a folder called 'vuplus' & under that folder another with the name of the Vu+ model (see example screenshot below).​
3. Copy the 'vuplus' folder to root folder of your USB stick. It should look like...​
