  1. Move down to the item you want to change.
  2. Press 'OK'.
  3. Use 'BACKSPACE' to delete existing entry.
  4. Enter the new data
  5. Exit
Job done.

Simples.

Most odd. Works OK for me but there is another option and this is to edit the config file:
Code:
Please, Log in or Register to view codes content!
Recommend using Notepad++ to do this.
  1. Navigate to the file
  2. Edit
  3. Search for "port"
  4. upload_2016-1-29_17-0-46.png
  5. Replace 8080 with number of your choice or click 'Find Next' for the next entry.
  6. upload_2016-1-29_17-3-6.png
  7. Replace Entries as desired if required.
  8. Save & Close
  9. Restart E2 (GUI)
  10. Start XBMC
Job done

XBMC takes quite a while to close & can seem like it has hung. I have known it take up to 30 secs to return to E2 but rarely has it hung completely on me.

What box & image are you using?

applied what you said but still on 8080 :(
That does not make any sense at all. If you followed the instructions in post #4 to the letter then it must work because I did it 3 times to make sure.

Are you sure you are editing the right file in the right location?

yes, I changed httpproxyport on path \hdd\.xbmc\userdata\guisettings.xmlfrom from 8080 to 53 and save . and make sure that changes were saved . but after restart and start XBMC back to 8080 .
it seem strange but thats what happens with me. !!
