If they continue to kill media hosting & torrents then not sure it would be worth having anyway.

I just grab at what is interesting, (to me), at the moment and record it for keepsake. At the moment I am with an ISP that does not throttle me, (averaging 12Mb/s on a copper wire line), and very pleased with their backup. Could be getting fibre, :biglol:, well they are laying in a lot of cables down the road from me., bat as you say William year 3000. If man does not completely screw this planet up. I suppose that is one of the problems about living in the country side. As long as there is free sat, TV is still worth watching, Sometimes.

Update:
Further news to my 1st post. I am on fibre unlimited  had it connected yesterday and Openreach Engineer showed me his test. 80Mbits/s Download and 20Mbits/s Upload. He left me to configure the Openreach Modem and my ISP's supplied router. Connected both, got online and checked speeds. Rubbish!! Only 10Mbits/s down and 1.2Mbits/s up. I decided to configure my TP-Link TD-W9980 direct to the wall socket, :dancehappy:. Now download is 79999Mbits/s and upload 19999Mbits/s. At last we in the sticks are getting nearer the 21st Century. My better half is chuffed better WiFi speeds although I might upgrade to an 'AC' router and a bit faster, say 1200-2400 or even a 3200. A 4 bed house to cover with WiFi.
