Anyone who has flashed his image of OpenATV before the end of September 2016, should not make online updates today / tomorrow before he has flashed with an image of tomorrow!
Background:
Until at least 19.9. All images contained a faulty opkg, which neither itself nor busybox (ALL boxes have busybox, which is next to the kernel the heart of the system!).
Since the problem is indeed fixed in Neuflashs but there would be the new opkg mandatory requirement for a functioning update of itself, the cat bite in the tail and the update could never be rolled out via online update ...
As of today, however, A busybox update was rolled out, as updates were also avoided with two earlier innovations.
So
flashed last before the end of September boxes please as soon as possible via Flash update with setting Backup / Restore!
"Timely", because the problem is so out of the world and other busybox updates would be rolled out without renewed notice ...
