VU+ Polls In your opinion what is the best image for VU+ receivers ?

This is an interesting thread, but id like to know what is it in your opinion that makes BH Images the 'best'?

Best means different things to different people, which is part of the reason I ask.

When i put all perfect things who need to operate my OpenPli image for me is the perfect image and work great

I think part of the best thing could be regional, because some images are setup more aimed towards certain nationalities/sats...

I was first to vote on this poll & chose OpenATV, 4 months on & having re flashed many times & trying all the others in multiboot i still rate this image above any other. Blackhole & OpenSPA both worthy of a mention if asked for next favourites.

I cant say for VU+ but I liked the OpenATV on alien and think that is where I will go as first port of call when I get my vu+ .

If it was overall experience, I would personally say that some images are let down by the atitude of staff on certain imageS (yeah I do mean more than one team).

i had always used bh on a vu solo but recently changed to open pli4 so i could open 27w and have to say its much faster when booting, on the odd ocasion i have to boot because its so stable, now saving up for solo2 with the extra memory i can really load the image with all the plugins i need

I have tried several when I first started out. To keep my Dearly Beloved happy, she finds Vix is easy to change channels and go through the bouquets, (her words). At present still using Ten Below's Illusive-XBMC and updated the software several times. Getting another STB to put in the PC, (spare bedroom) to play with, and learn from.

hi guys my vu+duo came with blackhole pre installed about 2yrs ago with lots of extras was running BH and was very happy with it until a problem with my motor dish and trying to sort it accidently deleted something and lost a load of stuff so had to reflash tried a fresh BH image but being a newbie could not get my head round it so have been using different backups but im back on BH now I do prefer it for the vu+ although having a few probs again ...I have an alien2 triple running PKT hyperion 4.5 for the past 3mths and its been really stable had no problems with it so I may try that on the vu+ ( was not aware it existed tbh ) if I could get the BH back to as it originally was I would definitely stick with that sick I did not back it up ....but we live and learn
