i have a inverto ultra dual lnb at the min, but ive bought a new inverto ultra quad to get ready for new box, i swapped it over ok and all was fine for about 20 mins then all of a sudden i changed channels and every channel is tune failed and zero signal? i thought i might have knock the dish out of allignment but i put the old lnb back on and every thing was fine again, surely i dont have to re-align the dish because of a lnb change?

I don't believe you need to realign your dish but you may need to fiddle with the LNB skew to get optimum performance. I know this to be true of a Single LNB but not sure how skew would affect a quad. That is the only thing I can suggest may be giving you issues. So will leave it up to the more enlightened to offer more and correct me if I'm wrong.

I bought an Inverto Black, based on it's reputation, to pull in weaker channels and in the hope of getting BEIN sports on 7E only to find that, after spending many hours fiddling, my old trusty Technomate blew it out of the water.

you might need to tweak ,I would think the dish wasnt perfectly lined up previous , also you will find the distance from the lnb front to the dish might be slightly different this alters the focus , with a motorized dish no need to skew the lnb it should be plumb at 0 degrees the dish and motor will skew it as it turns ,the bigger the dish the more fine the movements will need to be aligning it , youll be surprised what little it needs to be out

that video is fxxking nuts lol, i thought the smaller the dish the harder it would be to get a signal and the larger would be easy as its a bigger foot print
