VU+ Kodi Support Kodi custom builds

Is it possible to update my Duo2 kodi 16.1 with a custom build, beast or nemesis for eg?
Away from home so cant try it atm.
It just seems that this may be a simple solution to get things running sweet without too much faffing?

I do this with config manager from TVaddons. Nemesis & Beast follow the same principal. So no reason why this will not work though that does not guarantee that all the plugins that are installed will be compatible with the E2 version of Kodi. So don't expect all the added plugins to work.

Going to try this myself now.

I find with custom builds you end up with loads of stuff you will never use so prefer just to install the addons installer then pick & chose from there.

Thanks Ten. Wish I hadn't bothered. Unless you have a paid account for a lot of the Nemesis provided plugins the whole repo is a waste of time. The skin installed is gimmicy and ugly also IMHO.

I've been using the 'beast' build on a firestick whilst on holiday in Poland. TBH it seems ok, so thought i may try it on my duo2 when back home.

Personally wouldn't use build on them.

I prefer manually installing one addon, try it, make sure works, install new one, then make into own simple build.


I.e went thru some just now as an old post of mine is outdated, so far

Exodus
Zen
Stream all sources
(all multi link scrapers above, work fine with my vusolose using mediaplayer as external player)

Then sportmania *paid sub works fine and also certain parts of Maverick addon i.e films but free iptv don't

This way, keeps it fast and zappy and loaded with only top quality working ones
