VU+ Kodi Support kodi will not shut down

hi have a vu+solo2 ruining a vix backup by ten when i use kodi all ok
but when i try to turn off kodi i get box freeze and have to hold power button on remote until
vu restarts can any one help with this as it is a pain in the buton
