This liitle problem has me foxed, I use a motorised dish along with a static dish on 28east. Tuner A is on the static dish and Tuner B is usals. The motor is a dark motor metal gear about 12 years old but has worked like a dream until recently when I changed image a few times. I have 2 x solo2 with Openpli on one and OpenBH on the other. Initially problem was with OpenBH image so I swopped to Openpli and same problem so could be motor but just in case its me here is the problem.

I use 9 east a lot to leave dish at this location and then when need arsies I move to 13 east, 19east, 0.8w, 30w and so on BUT now when I try to move to 13 east I get the dish icon, lose signal on 9 east and dish seems to stay on 9east but no signal. If then select 9 East after a brief moment I get signal back. Same happens with 19 e ect. To get it back working I have to select 0.8w, 19e, 13,e, back to 9e and eventually it will move to 13 or 19. I have removed cable from motor, rebooted box and so on but fault returns.

Before I get a new motor is there something I could try that may resolve it?

Sometimes a had reboot fixes, removing cable fixes it.

Did u check the connection from motor receiver and with lnb . it could be the bad connection to or there is any lnb have loose connection or weak signal generation.
I think u should try it before to buy one remove all cables and make new connection and then check it

thank you I try as you suggest tomoro.

Just a little update, I did as you suggested, used a totally different lead to motor and it worked flawlessly for a few hours, I kept moving dish back and forth. I then re made the existing cable, cut off a bit at both ends and dish moved flawlessly. Today I wanted to go from 9e to 13 e and no luck but when I re-booted box all worked okay.

So thank you.

I had a similar issue last year & ended up fitting a new motor only to find it was one of my cable connections which I HAD checked that was still faulty, So at least I have a spare motor now. :snicker:
