Open Black Hole 1.0





Whats New:


  • Updated to OE4.0 core
  • Updated to Python 2.7.12
  • Updated to Gstreamer 1.11.2 (GIT)
  • Automatic backup before online update
  • Option to view changes before online updating


Main Features:
  • MX Titanium_C Full Hd skin (1920x1080)
  • Kodi 17.1 (for those models that support it)
  • Fallback - Fallback tuner settings moved to Service searching menu into its own menu
  • Fallback - Remote bouquets copier (Channel Importer). For receivers used as clients, copies and loads the channel list from the server box.
  • Fallback - ability for client to not write EPG data back to server box. Means epg.dat can be shared over a network mount without fear of corruption.
  • Various OE-A Core updates.
  • Updated Service Info screen
  • Updated Streaming Clients screen (skin dependant)

How does this differ from the OpenBH 1.0 backup released on here a month or so ago? Are they the same core (configured backup available weeks earlier than the base release)?? Or are we running into a release number mix-up?

This is the official release of 1.o. The previous release was a custom build.

Please review rule 14 & lose the VPN.

Hi All,
Tried this image last night on my solo 4K and mgcamd not working. It used to work fine on the previous version. Anyone with similar issues? Or am I doing something wrong? Installed the ipk file and config sent to use/keys. Thanks

Hi, Is the terrestrial tuner working on this build? Its says the signal is 100% but the error - No data on transponder (timer reading PAT)

If you have a Terrestrial tuner installed then check your tuner settings are set for T and not C. These also need to be set for your local transmitter. Although the generic European selection setting does work it also introduces some anomalies into the channel list that can cause channels selected to report the error you are seeing. So I'd suggest setting to your nearest known TV transmitted eg:

The terrestrial tuner is set to that configuration. There is a 100% signal in satfinder but I cant find any channels in a scan using the terrestrail.xml that previously worked even is I put in the correct user defined frequency. When I select a channel that is tuned correctly its black and after a few seconds it gives the error "No data on transponder (timer reading PAT)"
It worked with version o.6 but doesn't work with version 1.0.

I too use a duo2 and am running this image as I write. It works perfectly for me but this is Open Black Hole not OpenPli. Which image are you running that you are having the problem on?

I am using open blackhole 1.0. Terrestrial tuner in C. Satfinder has 100% signal.
