VU+ Solo2 Backup Images Open BlackHole 0.6-009 - 17.10.2016 By Ten Below

Flashed and working.I was messing around with the video settings, now I have no HDMI option in menu/setup/system/AV settings/video output you know what they say, a little knowledge is dangerous!

Trying to install the picons etc, receiver will not close down, crash log. Any suggestions? I am trying to upload the crash log but when I look for it via 'upload a file' it does not see it.

Do you mean you are unable to restart after installing addons?

Morning all. When I FTP'd the Picons, they went to somewhere, but esentially, to the wrong location on the reciever. I then tried again to the right location as in your link in post 1. But when I do a GUI or system reboot, the reciever crashes and reboots to the settings and sat channel prior to the upload of the Picons. I will attempt to upload the crash log this evening. Its almost as easy for me to reflash to the image in post 1 and start again. Having said all that, the Open BH image in post 1 is a vast improvement on what I was using

The picons have probably filled up all available flash if in the wrong place, either find & remove or simply reflash & start over.

How do I update kodi on vu box to latest version

Unless you are currently running XBMC 15.2 then like the rest of us you wait for Vu+ devs to release an updated version for Enigma2.

If running 15.2 then uninstall it, update your feeds and install Kodi 16 (might be listed as Vuplus Kodi or just plain Kodi) from the updated feeds.

Thank you very much for the image. It is a massive improvement what I was using. It is amazing and it is allowing me also to get a better understanding of the box. I am experiencing however an issue when I rebbot the box as it takes up to 1 hour. it is accessing to a lot of different IP addresses. Are you aware of it? Do you want me to provide a log with those acceses?

This sounds very odd indeed but I am also surprised that no one else has reported a similar problem.

I was still using this backup up till around 2 weeks ago & rebooting was perfectly normal, i suspect this is due to another issue not related to the backup. Did it always behave this way?

Until I can saw the TV has taken 7 minutes and the log writes a lot of failed login attempts.

Please, can you tell me which these lggin attempts are and if that can be the problem of why the box takes a long time to turn on?

What are a these logins from a softcam?
If it is try disabling all softcams running then see if it reboots normally. Also check you have no open ports on your router that do not need to be open.
