I'm having similar issues, the box has crashed twice and when powered off and on again it's frozen at the Tigerwoods splash screen and doesn't get any further. As it's a brand new box i cant be sure its not a hardware problem so i'll try another image

hi ten I have noticed that I have to have the sound up full on this image and my own tv up quite high any reason or is their a sound boost

Connect via web interface and check that the volume is not set too low.

Just an update, the solo2 has been running fine with a vix image from here. reflashed with this image and the box froze again.
back to vix for the timebeing

Crashed used kodi. I've done a complete system reboot and now it wont go past the tiger woods boot screen. I guess I'll need to reflash the image now?

Never heard of Kodi causing such a problem before. So unless you know of something that you changed that might be causing this then it may be quicker to just reflash.

Only time I have personally seen issues as you describe is with OMB and having selected a corrupt or incomplete boot image.

Can you ping the box IP and if so can you still FTP to the box?

I would suggest you flash a different image as with this one you can no longer use online updates (see post #93).
