VU+ Solo SE Backup Images Openatv 5.3 - vusolose v2

Hi guys and gals.

I created this backup image, it is designed for simplicity with minimal features.

OPENATV 5.3 latest image 07/11/16

Sky skin by kiddac installled edited so epg tabs.
Sky channel numbers in infobar and epg

Image is SCANNED to LONDON, all you need to do is go to

Menu - plugins - autobouquets E2 - Menu - change to your region - green to save - green to scan - yes to NIT scan.

SKY SPORTS ROI inside the normal UK scanning bouquets, so you get the one 3pm game on Sky sports 5 ROI each week.


Softcams installed.
Oscam 11274
Mgcamd 138 and 145a
CCcam 2.30

cccam.cfg is in usr/keys (cccam softcams)
newcamd.list is usr/keys (mgcamd softcams)
oscam.server is in /etc/tucbox/config
Scanning and EPG

Using autobouquets E2 for scanning, set up for 28.2E

Set to scan at 4am
Cross epg all set up for 28.2E and set to populate at 04:10am

Configured IPTV player with addons like 123 movies - movienight - vumooch - yify - filmtopia all there and latest update.

SET UP A USB OR HDD

Put new USB/HDD in back of sat box
Turn on box

Then

Menu, setup, system, storage devices, Initialise.
Menu, info panel, plugins - mount manager - setup mounts - change to /media/hdd green to save (just in case not mounted correct)
Then save then restart box.
Menu, info panel, plugins, swap manager, create , 256mg (once created), activate then auto start.
Menu, setup, epg, settings, epg location – change to /media/hdd
Menu, setup, crossepg, configure, storage device – should be your USB
Menu, setup, recording and timeshift settings, recording settings, default movie location - /media/hdd/movie, green to save
Menu, setup, recording and timeshift settings, timeshift settings, timeshift location - ./media/hdd/timeshift/, green to save
Auto start timeshift after – disabled
Green to save



KODI 16.1 RC is in (menu - plugins - download - extensions - VUPLUSKODI)
= only do this after you have sorted a USB or HDD and its mounted at media/hdd.

Quick question pal please

I am trying to insert the cccam data manually into the box, i did see a menu somewhere asking for the login/password port etc but when i got the details and went back to do it i cannot find that menu anywhere!! Iv also just reread that the cccam file is in a different location usr/keys so can i add the cccam data to there via filezilla?!

Yes /usr/keys is correct for ATV.

Yes usr/keys and cccam,cfg is already there.

filezila there is no password so it should be

HOST - your ip from box
username - root
Quick connect.

just couple more questions if you dont mind!!

(asking for a friend hahaa )
my subscription says its got adult channels but i dont kno where to find them in this setup? is there a way to show/unhide them if possible?

also on the channel guide theres no information showing until i click on the channel then it loads up the programme list, this is not a problem i was just wondering if this is normal??

You might have to get the option for nookie unticked in the Autobouquets configuration. Press MENU.

CrossPG is included so I suspect you just need to go in there and add the EPG source you require. You can also set the time when to download & refresh. Sorry don't use it myself so can't post screenshots.

As for ADULT, I have used AUTOBOUQUETS E2 - I hide ADULT - but I also delete bouquets and unticked "default"


So in the MENUS that dirti donki has posted above, tick make default bouquets but untick adult/gaming.

Green to save - green to scan - yes to NIT scan.

It should only take a couple of minutes to complete so turn it of and see if it boots.

is this image compatible with a Vermin line?

is there anything different i need to do whilst setting up a box via the vm line?

i have installed this image and got the iptv working but theres no freeview showing on the channels?

BY Vermin line do you mean Vermin Internet? OR that you purchased the vusolose v2 but with cable tuners i,e DVB - C so you connected Vermin feed to box rather than a Sat Dish?

YEah sorry i have Vermin tv/BB/phone as it stands now.

i dont have a dish, so got advised to get a dual tuner cable vu solo box and pretty much unplug it from the vm box and plug into the solo box. im messing around in the settings now haha

Then Menu - setup - service searching - autobouquets maker

configure - set to scan at 4am.
providers - set Vermin UK to yes.
Network id - NETID of your Vermin area.
Green to save

Scan from within autobouquets maker


I INSTALLED AUTOBOUQUETS E2 WHICH IS SAT, so also go in MENU - Plugin - autobouquet e 2 - menu - turn off automatic scanning (or if just remove it from plugins)


Vermin EPG is best to zap to Vermin preview channel (100) at 4am for 3 minutes. (may have google that) also go into cross epg settings - OPENTV providers - UNTICK all and save and turn off scanning at 4:10am.



That is the proper way of scanning, but also what tp remove on this image to save any conflicts.

Im doing that above blind as don't have Vermin myself.

You may need manually delete the Sky bouquets also if any there already.

Press TV button on remote - if any sky bouquets - when on a bouquet - press menu - remove (8) - Yes - then go thru all removing each one.

Yes /usr/keys is correct for ATV.
