im treading lightly here as i dont want to break any rules but i am struggling adding cccam or mscam onto this box, i have done it exactly as i done the first box by using usr/keys and inserting the information

then in the softcam panel setting it to the desired setting but still only showing me channel 1-4 SD no hd etc.

am i missing something obvious here? the channel list etc looks good no satelitte bouquets at all now

Is your cccam/mgcamd actually for cable? and not sky?

have you checked network on box? menu - setup - system - network - device setup - network test - start test - all 5 green ticked and all confirmed?

cccam/mgcamd entered correctly? in correct folder/directory>?

hi guys, been having a issue with the timeshift feature,

setup it up as above and can work perfect for a day or 2 but then no errors or anything but it just stops working showing the X symbol when i try to rewind pause etc?

I am using a 8gb usb stick is this ideal or should i change it to something?

Check the device is not full, an internal hdd is a better option.

Menu - information - devices - screenshot of page
Menu - information - memory - screenshot of page

Also REWIND (timeshift) is disabled if followed the instructions I posted in first post on setting up usb/hdd, mainly for the reasons above, your using a 8gb USB, if timeshift was active, you would get error messages galore, usb be filled instantly and run risk of saving to flash memory, have seen boxes like zgemmas end up on 1% flash memory due to a timeshift memory leak when using small usbs.

You can activate that if and when you purchase a bigger usb i.e 64/128gb or an external hdd like toshiba canvio 500gb as an example.

Yes, put a USB in and follow instructions on post 1 on how to sort and have correct directory/paths for epg etc.

Unless you want everything storing on internal flash, hope you haven't installed kodi, as all builds/addons will be storing on internal flash.

Get a 64gb Sandisk thumb drive usb 3.0 for like £15 in Argos.

For now, you could try.

Menu - setup - epg - cross epg - defragement database - then click download now.

If that fails, restart box, then try it.

When you have USB just do this.

Put new USB/HDD in back of sat box
Turn on box

Then

Menu, setup, system, storage devices, Initialise.
Menu, info panel, plugins - mount manager - setup mounts - change to /media/hdd green to save (just in case not mounted correct)
Then save then restart box.
Menu, info panel, plugins, swap manager, create , 256mg (once created), activate then auto start.
Menu, setup, epg, settings, epg location – change to /media/hdd
Menu, setup, crossepg, configure, storage device – should be your USB
Menu, setup, recording and timeshift settings, recording settings, default movie location - /media/hdd/movie, green to save
Menu, setup, recording and timeshift settings, timeshift settings, timeshift location - ./media/hdd/timeshift/, green to save
Auto start timeshift after – disabled
Green to save
