VU+ Solo SE Backup Images Openatv 6.0 custom backup build with kodi, iptv player, picons, 3 skins

OPENATV 6.0 BETA BUILD WITH

- picons in usr/share all ready set up on image
- Metrix FHD, Sky Fraggile skin, Kraven HD
- Kodi 16.1 rc
- fully configured IPTV player
- cccam 2.30 - mgcamd 145a - oscam 11274

DISCLAIMER - its a beta build and use AT OWN RISK, it does not currently take latest sky skins by kiddac i.e Slyk hd or chabs Sky Q skin, its trial and error but I have included 3 skins above all setup ready to go, as its a beta build you may find some work and some don't however the general running of image is good, i.e channel zapping, iptv player, kodi.

Before anything, I suggest setting up your USB or external hdd first before using any plugins especially Kodi.

SET UP A USB OR HDD

Put new USB/HDD in back of sat box
Turn on box

Then

Menu, setup, system, storage devices, Initialise.
Menu, info panel, plugins - mount manager - setup mounts - change to /media/hdd green to save (just in case not mounted correct)
Then save then restart box.
Menu, setup, epg, settings, epg location – change to /media/hdd
Menu, setup, crossepg, configure, storage device – should be your USB
Menu, setup, recording and timeshift settings, recording settings, default movie location - /media/hdd/movie, green to save
Menu, setup, recording and timeshift settings, timeshift settings, timeshift location - ./media/hdd/timeshift/, green to save
Auto start timeshift after – disabled
Green to save


Softcam configs locations below.

cccam.cfg is in usr/keys (cccam softcams)
newcamd.list is usr/keys (mgcamd softcams)
oscam.server is in /etc/tucbox/config

Scanning and epg

Using autobouquets maker for scanning, set up for 28.2E

It is set to scan at 4am
Cross epg all set up for 28.2E and set to populate at 04:10am

Sky sports 5 ROI is also in sports bouquet.

Channel numbers added via edited epg/number hack.

I only have the vusolose v2 box myself, if I had others I would make it.

I don't know how to compile it for every box, and I am not sure if you can make a full backup like this without having the actual box.

Which is shame, as I still would like to have a play with a 4k box

I set everything up for UK based, so maybe worth just having a look in there and exploring and see if you can find any.

I just try to upgrade my SoloSe and the box just dont start?!
It freeze then the logo shows

So what should i do now:
- downgrade to 5.3?
- or?

Shouldn't do that unless a poor flash, what actual solose do you have? not a clone vu solo 2 se? or genuine box?

I would try my newest openatv 5.3 image.

The only way it will brick your box is you are using a clone if your box is original this image is updated daily so knock yourself out lol.
This was an experimental build so be warned NOT FOR CLONES

Hi, I will be honest I haven't got a clue as never tested for that when I made it.

Best bet, is backup your own build, then try this one if you fancy it.

I only have the vusolose v2 box myself, if I had others I would make it.

I don't know how to compile it for every box, and I am not sure if you can make a full backup like this without having the actual box.

The only way it will brick your box is you are using a clone if your box is original this image is updated daily so knock yourself out lol.
