Grey out means that either Tuner is not set up or there is a conflict with your satellites.xml. Agree your approach, I would try uploading a new channel list using DCC or similar or just flash it again.

so weird , even the new one would not pick up my sat ,
reinstall BH and its working , but I hate BH , cant find a sly skin for it
but the pic quality on meelo se is fantastic I have to say
even with my iptv

am trying to get the uk epg for my iptv , this is why am installing
images with 28.2

I have ipab on it when I got it , took it of as when I tried to get any help
from them on there fb page , none would help , but it worked well to
on my box

just checked all I can get on turner config is 28.2

Good move IMHO as I flashed that one today and it is ready setup for 28 East but with multisat list already installed. So all you need do is set your tuner, locale & timezone.

got my BH backup on again and its working fine
even found a way to get the epg onto my iptv now as well
do you know of a good sly like skin for BH

Sadly BH tie their images down so tight and as such I know of no Sty skin that will work on it. Even if manually installed the system picks up on it and either tells you it is not compatible or you trying to use will cause the image to go into a gui boot loop.

Just found out its open BH image

have downloaded 2 sly skins , going to check them now

edit got error downloading them ,

got the sly skin on now looks class

was trying to download your build bud
but could not open it , I like the openatv images the best BH
is so hard to use

Novice here so please bear with me! I just got a Vu+ Duo 2 & have today managed to load this image (6.0) on to it as I assumed it is the latest & best version of OpenATV? It seems to have loaded OK but as I was perusing the menus, I selected Software Update & it came up with 90 updates available. I assumed they were needed so I pressed the Green Update button but was then met with a message saying that the image is out of date & there is a risk of my box not booting or having problems if I update? It advised that to do a new flash but if I re-flash it with the same image, will not the same issue persist? Is there a newer, more up to date image I should use?

There is an online update available for the Solo2 now & will be for other models by tomorrow, the new Onyx Skin By Kiddac has been added to the feeds.

only thing I need to fix is , when I press the epg button , I cant scroll ascross
the channel catigories like sly sports music etc , I am using the sky new skin
as I love it

just scanning sat now as I type , would be greatful for any help on this
I could do that when I had ipab image on box

Only thing I have noticed is that there is a lag with the ONYX skin on my solo2 so gone back to my faithful Matrix. Mind I did like the look of ONYX.

Like the Onyx skin also. Not seen any lag myself but not really into the whole Sty thing so will stick with Kraven.

The <> buttons should do this or certainly do for me using settings generated by ABM.

As, like me, you have a DUO2, you should pick the one for the DUO2 in post 1 which just so happens to be the 1st one in the list on the top left. Here to make it simple for you is a link to the file:

The process went smoothly - so thank you again!

May I ask, is there an easy way to download from the Duo 2 or it's menu's the new version of the Sky Skin from Chabs as I am so use to that sort of layout? I see Chabs SkyQ skin is preinstalled on the image but not sure if I can get used to it tbh!

If you look in the skins option under menu-setup-Usage & Gui-Skin Setup you will find all the skins already there to choose from. If the chabs one is not there then you will have to get the ipk, upload it to the box & then install it yourself.

You will find the ipk in the skins section of the forum or it might also be available on the vuplus-images panel which you can run from the plugins. Menu-Plugins or sometimes pressing the green button will get you there.

Hi Guys

finally got openatv image from here working on my meelo have installed
Slyk 1 HD skin and looks class , managed to add the categories bar , I think there is more
that has been updated like the yellow bars etc to split up the channels

anyone have a new modded version of this
