This is an unofficial build of openHDF 5.5 which uses its own custom built feeds, if anyone reposts this backup on other boards please clearly state where it originated from as the OpenHDF team will provide no support for the VU+Solo2 with this image version.

Press: Blue > HDF Toolbox > openHDF-Downloader



No ftp or other passwords have been set.

Note for users of this backup:

After installing a softcam (mgcamd) the image began crashing when i pressed the blue button, if anyone experiences the same please do the following ,

Menu >Setup >Devices >Remote Control >Hotkey Settings >Blue



Unassign then reassign this button or change it to anything of your choice



No need to restart so just save & normal behaviour is resumed.

Good Morning all,

first I want to say that I have always been very satisfied with HDF Images. Then last night I tested Tens backup image and must say the first impression was great.

Flashing, not an issue, own configs, settings etc. also not an issue. But then the problems started. CI for Sky germany was not recognized properly, crashes after skin change. After each crasch everything was back to standard, like language and network settings.

I really hope that someone else has also been testing this image and can share his experience here. It coul be very helpfull. Thx a lot.

Crashlogs should be in /home/root/log which will hopefully shed some light on what happened, did you configure the image yourself or use the option in the tools menu?

I did configured it myself. I will flash it again and upload the crash log later tonight.

Is it possible to get ABM working in this image?
Only after D/Ling & opening ABM, I could not access any settings to personalise to my region, not even providers...

Not working for me either so will try to get it working when i have time, if its only 28.2E bouquets you are after you can uninstall it & use this instead for now.

Thanks TB, glad it's not just me. But Kodi doesn't open for me either.
I always used VIX until I added a Turbo USB tuner, but the VIX kept crashing, so I tried your BH 3.0.2B image, it was good for the Turbo but the epg was sketchy & I found recordings to momentarily freeze for 1-3 seconds. Not good when watching the Olympic Taekwondo...

I'm after an image with Kodi that will accept the Turbo tuner, can you recommend anything?

I always used VIX until I added a Turbo USB tuner, but the VIX kept crashing, so I tried your BH 3.0.2B image, it was good for the Turbo but the epg was sketchy & I found recordings to momentarily freeze for 1-3 seconds. Not good when watching the Olympic Taekwondo...

I'm after an image with Kodi that will accept the Turbo tuner, can you recommend anything?

I dont own a Turbo tuner but it should work with all images, kodi is ok for me on this image.

I'll try reloading this image later tonight & test Kodi again, hopefully I'll get it working this time...

I don't suppose you've created an installation instruction for Kodi? Or I would attempt a clean VIX install.

I'll try reloading this image later tonight & test Kodi again, hopefully I'll get it working this time...

I don't suppose you've created an installation instruction for Kodi? Or I would attempt a clean VIX install.

Kodi is already installed on this backup, for openvix installing kodi is done from the image addons manager or i have built a version with kodi preinstalled here.
OpenVIX 4.2 with KODI 16.1 preinstalled
