How to install Kodi on this image?

can't access samba!
user/password changed?
(normally root/dreambox or root/- )

You can Telnet to the receiver and set a password using the passwd command.

Kodi 17 is not currently build-able within OpenPli develop, and adding in Kodi 16.1 is now complicated due to many changes.

What box do you have?

You can Telnet to the receiver and set a password using the passwd command.

I tried this with old and new release but still no Samba access,
thank god FTP is working

Doesn't anyone else have this problem?

BTW, I own a Solo4K..

I have just installed a fresh copy of this in OMB and SAMBA works out of the box without any need to set anything up. So not sure what the problem you are having could be. uz
