Thanks, now added to the feeds.

Something i never use but am sure it is built into PLi, does media player not open dvd files for you?
When opening a VIDEO_TS folder in MediaPlayer you see the list of VOB files, you can play them one by one, but it's not like playing a DVD.
When opening a VIDEO_TS folder using PVR button, you see the DVD menu, but it is blocked, no hope of selecting one of the item of the DVD menu.
I hope I've been clear enough... thank you

You mean display DVD Player in the plugins menu like this?

If so try this, replace the plugin files in /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions/DVDPlayer with the attached then restart enigma2.
Tested ok on my solo2 box.

The situation seems a bit complicated. Last days I installed and removed more than once the DVDplayer plugin and I was never able to find it listed in the "plugin" panel.
So, in order to play a DVD i tried via mediaplayer or the "pvr".
Now I haven't it installed, but I can find it no more between the downloadable plugins, perhaps because I entered the commands "opkg update" and "opgk upgrade"(?).
I could try to re-flash my Solo4K and see if anything changes...

Do this, opkg remove enigma2-plugin-extensions-dvdplayer

You will then be able to reinstall it via the plugin menu.

Sorry it is built into the image, find autobackup in the plugin menu & set create autoinstall to on then press yellow to manually create a backup then reflash the image, your settings will be restored when it boots & it will be back.

Go back to post #42 & replace the files in the plugin folder then restart E2.

Well... Now I have the DVDplayer entry in the menu, but the behaviour is the same. I.e., when I choose a folder containing TS_VIDEO and I press "OK", I see the DVD menu, but it is "locked", no way to activate the entries of the menu (play, scene select, audio setting....)
I can add that I've tried also OpenBlackHole and BlackHole images, and OpenBlackHole has the same problem, while in BlackHole (which I don't like for other reasons...) the DVDplayer works well

Thank you again!
