Why install loads of softcams & post a backup when users can choose the ones they need via the feeds?
Settings & tools to create your own region ones are included, gstreamer 1.11.0 patch for PLi was released after i had posted the Solo2 build the one included is fine for everyday use, if you don't like this build then simply don't use it there are many others to choose from perhaps they will supply the spoon feeding you require.
I hope my question is allowed and placed in the right place, if not I plead for pardon: via third party feeds is now possible to find ncam for solo4k? I couldn't install on Openpli5 the ncam ipk available for Openpli4.

You are trying to install from the wrong place, look for the entry under 4k emu.This is the message trying to install ncam on OpenPLi 5 (master-next)
Start Panel then select vuplus-addons >Softcams >Softcams for 4k receivers >ncam1.1 for OpenPLi

Now I would add a different issue about this image, which I like a lot: the DVDplayer plugin doesn't work for me, when opening a VIDEO_TS folder on hard disk I see the DVD menu but no option is active and I can't play the movie...

lol so will blame the Christmas :wine:The recipe to build openvpn was there all along so i just tried & it built without any problem.

Something i never use but am sure it is built into PLi, does media player not open dvd files for you?
