VU+ Uno4K Backup Images OpenPLi 6.0 - with Kodi 17, iptv player, xc plugin, suls bouquet maker

Hi.

This is image is a backup of OpenPLI official image, using OpenPLI own feeds, however few tweaks.

1. Kodi 17.4/5 installed on image already (not in download feeds, so do not uninstall, it was compiled on own image on laptop, but installed on this, then used official OpenPLI feeds for rest as I cant keep own feeds active currently. (CLOCK IS HOUR FAST INSIDE KODI)

2. IPTV player installed and config for good sources and well worth a look.

3. XC plugin installed for anyone who uses iptv on that plugin.

4. Suls iptv bouquet maker, again for anyone using iptv in bouquets via Suls.

5. Dreamplex installed.

6. OpenMultiboot

7. ABM scan 28.2E at 4am and EPG import at 6:01am.

8. Vuplus images panel installed

9. Remember to mount your usb/external drive as /media/hdd via mount manager.

10. Set up for UK 28.2E

Kodi can hang on exit sometimes for a little bit, but if using telnet

killall kodi.bin

is handy if Kodi ever freezes.

remember it uses external Vu+ player, but tested 2 addons and works fine.

Service App not installed but if you want to install

Menu - Plugins - Download - System Plugins - Service app

If GST player says not installed when in service app menu then open a telnet and

cd /usr/bin
ln -s gstplayer gstplayer_gst-1.0

It´s real shame that internal CI with Sky V14 does not work with this great image.

If you want to try & build yourself try adding "ci" to machine features here.

!!! UPDATE / FEEDBACK on KODI 17.4 !!!

Right, this has Kodi and addons work fine, however it is a bit touch and go like on most enigma2, I had to install a few python files via opkg to get certain addons to work, i.e urllib, libxml, python3. (did this on first install, as it was missing lots direct from git)

So my advice, would be treat it as a little bonus and use in conjunction with the IPTV player on enigma2 interface.

Mounted own media - works fine no issues
Covenant - worked fine
Esylium - worked fine
few iptv addons - worked fine.

If anyone has used image, any feedback be cool.
