successfully installed on my solo SE , and install Kodi from the plugin download, and kodi did not work at all, but I really liked this openpli. thanks you for this support

Hi all many thanks for this release its works very well on my solo 2
I can't seam to be able to sort the epg out for the sky channels it puts all the freeview listing up but only odd sky ones

Menu-Plugins-EPGImport-Sources

1. Select the ones you want & save.
2. Setup daily import for somewhere in the early hours
3. Do an Import now
4. Green to OK & exist (so you can carry on watching while the import weaves its magic).
5. Happy days.

Thanks for the reply i don't seem to have epg import in my plugins box and in the download plugins i can't see anything in there
maybe i should re flash it again ??

That's most odd because I have just completed a backup version of this for the DUO2 & it is definitely there. Maybe I gave you a bum steer and it is not listed as EPGImport in the feeds. Sorry.

Have a look again in the feeds but this time look for xmlimport not saying it will be there but it should be.

Need to install both packages.

Hi no they are not there ? Strange funny because in the tv guid there is no listing but if i go to a sky channel the info comes up on the bottom of the screen for a few seconds
will try a clean download and install tom see what happens

Epg import is preinstalled on this image, you can also find it by pressing the blue button.


As DD said already you need to enable rytec UK in the sources menu then press green to save then yellow to do a manual import.


After this if you find the epg is not fully populated & you previosly used crossepg ftp to your usb or hdd where you stored the data & delete the file named epg.dat then do a fresh import then you should be good.

Morning all The Rytec Server support is not there I've downloaded the solo2 version again and re flashed
I've followed all the supporting images and there is nothing at all
there is EIT EPG
FREEVIEW EPG etc in the program but no rytec stuff

Sorry Steve you are right i had attached an earlier version for the solo2 which did not have it preinstalled but does have it to install in the feeds



The Solo2 version in post 1 has been updated & now does have EPG import preinstalled with rytec sources.

hello and thanks for this im running on my solo2 multiboot, how do i create a swap file, i have mounted the usb and hdd, thats what i want swap file for usb ive done the update but dont seem to find it help.

From the plugin feeds install the extension system tools which you can then find via the blue button.

Nothing like a little extra audio effect :trustme:

Thanks for attaching the crashlog G_ogi i will try to figure out why kodi is not starting & rebuld for the SoloSE at some point this week.

@G_ogi when you have time could you please ftp to /media/hdd/.kodi/userdata & check the folder is present & contains files simillar to the screenshot below, from the log you uploaded it looks like kodi cannot read or write to this location.
