Ok. Fixed it. For obscure legacy reasons related to TV wiring I was using the component video output - I changed to the HDMI and magically kodi is visible. I guess for some obscure reason, Kodi only outputs on the HDMI?

By the way, I also changed to and internal SATA drive, although that didn't seem to make any difference!

I tried to update this image and it failed dose any one know ? ( 227 updated package available ) Reflash recommended.

Bit old now. So yes, would recommend flashing the latest release.

High time for me to do another backup as well methinks.
