I have just downloaded this and flashed it to test and it has worked fine for me. So suggest you make sure your USB is setup like the screenshot below with the vuplus folder in the root directory and that the files sizes correspond also. If not download and try again.

Silly question, but did you remember to unzip the download before you tried to flash it?

I thought Openvix comes with built in CrossEPG as Standard?

How would you compare it to OpenATV?

I would say both are equally wife friendly, mine never complains when i switch between them anyway.

Dream Elite is more like BlackHole but not available on VU+, the best thing is to try it your self with multiboot being the easiest way to do this without reflashing your current image.

They are such stinkers when they do their online updates aren't they. Overwrite all the stuff one may have customized including personalized spinners and bootlogos. WTF they feel they need to do that is beyond me. ViX aren't alone in this. SPA also do this which used to kiss me off no end as it meant i had to put my personal look and feel back on. Thank goodness I now have the foresight to backup it all up before letting any updates loose.

Being a noob to this is there anything else I need to do in ccam and oscam configs apart from boxid to get this to work in my duo2? I appreciate any help you can offer. Card is working fine with all my subs in sly had box. Thanks

You should need only oscam to view & the white card does not require a boxkey, try changing the oscam config files in /etc/tuxbox/config with the ones attached then restart oscam.

Dolby Digital default = Yes
Dolby Digital downmix = Yes

Should sort that out for you.

Dolby Digital/DTS downmix = Yes
AAC downmix = Yes
A lot of channels then come through with NAR. I need to press audio to switch it off?

The NAR seems to be the default mpeg stream. So try this:

Blue button twice, auto language and subtitles, and set all subtitle options to None and the 4 other options to No.
My autolanguages are set english as no.1, undetermind as no.2, and original as no.3
.
