do you use external player for media with kodi? i.e media player or what do you use?

Not sure. I know the image comes with media player 2 installed. It has pap player mplayer and auto player. Whenever I choose any in navi x. Some formats pklay ok with sound and others have no sound. Its dirty donkey image 4.1 upgraded to 4.2 thanks. If u need further info please let me know thanks

You might have to disable audio enhancements on the Vu+ before you open Kodi as these kill the sound.

I had enabled 3D in the audio settings and had them all (bottom 3) set to HDMI. Turning these 3 to off again as shown below made the sound return to Kodi.

So perhaps all you need to do to fix yours is go to Menu-Setup-System-Audio Settings and set as shown above.

(if it is nookie then a lot of them won't play & some that do have no sound anyway)
