Vix Apollo 131 (for Sunray Solo2)
Sky looking setup

1.jpg

Source Date: 25/01/15
Kernel: 3.13.5
Drivers: 09/01/15 (patched)

This is backup of OpenVix Apollo designed to mimic $ky where possible. I have added TSMedia, Picons and MGGcamD 1.38 (along with mg_cfg config file), BlueHD v3.1 skin and Sky 'Believe in Better' bootlogo. I have setup timeshift to closely mimic $ky+ as possible.

I recommend backing up your current image first before flashing with this image.

Updating is possible, but keep in mind future driver releases/updates may harm your box. This image has the driver version patch and drivers write-protected already to reduce (but not guarantee) likelyhood of drivers being replaced during an update. Any updates done are at your own risk!

Credit goes to Sim2/Sunray team (with special thanks to RamiMAHER for the patched drivers and Gjstroom for patching driver version).

Thanks also go to Rossi2000 for the BlueHD skin and whomever designed the bootlogo. Any copyright is hereby acknowledged.

This image has only been tested on Sunray Solo2 clones. Use on any other clones may result in a bricked box. Use at your own risk!

OpenVix Apollo 152 with XBMC (for Sunray Solo2)
Sky looking setup

Source Date: 01/03/15
Kernel: 3.13.5
Drivers: Current XBMC drivers (patched)

XBMC (currently beta) is available via the plugin feeds and the "Sky UK (SD)" provider within Auto Bouquet Maker (ABM) has been modified and now includes Irish channels like Setanta Ireland and Setanta Sports 1 within relevant section (eg Sports) of Sky UK.

I recommend backing up your current image first before flashing with this image.

Id be cautious of flashing a clone model with any image unless it has been confirmed as clone safe, the reason I say this... (worse case scenario of course), is that you brick your receiver. I can only suggest you either seek out an image that has been tested and confirmed as safe with the Solo2SE, or somebody who has experience with this receiver.

The best advice I can give you is -

What image are you using at present?

I am assuming the 'attraction' to this image is the fact it has been made to work and look like the Offical S*y UK Receivers, the main part of this is the skin used, id suggest making a backup of your current image and config files, then installing and using the skin (which according to the first post is BlueHD v3.1 skin), until you get further advice.

I know it doesn't directly answer your question, but hopefully a workable solution, till someone better informed is able to pickup on your question.

thanks for that i assumed as this was for a sunray solo2 (clone) which is pretty much the same as the solo2se mini but with a screen and bigger box. its a friends box currently running a similar vix image with the same skin etc its just become very glitchy as they do and wanted to do a full restore to a newer backup.

Ahh my bad thought it was in the solo2 image section... :/

From what I read Solo2 images have been used on the Solo2se receivers in the past, but couldn't find any recent ones saying that you should or should not...
