Just like to say whoever made the audioEffect plugin is fantastic
Running through my onkyo 515 with effect in 3d surround mode with HDMI on and 3d surround speaker position extra-wide just fills the room,,,,,, Nice

It did when I first built this backup but I have just reloaded it to find it is no longer working for me and was not able to get it working again.

I note now that there is an announcement from the ViX Team about HbbTV incompatibilty with Opera but Opera actually works.

Known issues
HbbTV is not working with OpenOperabrowser as OpenOperabrowser is not currently compatible.

I'll try a fresh image and see if I can get it working again. If I can I will upload the backup again.

I find with the AC3 AAC downmix on, I don't get the Dolby Digital Signal on my onkyo 515, Turn them off and all is fine, is it supposed to be that way

I am not that intimately knowledgeable about such ViX Team technological wizardry. Perhaps a question Phenix will spot and answer when he next drops by in one of his many guises.

I must confess I have the bad habbit of enabling AC3 for everything without considering the consequences for others.

Hi folks,

I've had a duo2 running blackhole for about a year. I decided to install this as it looks like the bees knees. Got it downloaded, extracted and copied the folder to a usb stick formatted to fat32. I plugged it in and it went through a few things but then froze on 'checking usb' I powered it off at the back and started again but it just sticks on 'checking usb' it's been on that now for a few hours. I've even tried installing the bootloader again and then going back to it but to no effect. It's the same regardless of what image I tried to install, I've tried blackhole and vix. Please can someone help, I'm lost :'(

I'd be inclined to scan & fix the USB stick on a PC before using it again. Then I would check the downloaded archive to make sure the contents are as expected (if not download it again):

Remember the USB Stick must have the vuplus folder and it's entire contents in the root:

Then try it again.

I read on some forums of stick issues but never personally ever experienced any issues myself and I use the cheapest sticks money can buy.

Back from Nigeria then I see.

ATV5 mounts my HDD & my USB stick simultaneously and will even mount my external HDD without any interaction from my RTC whatsoever. So you should not need to set anything up at all. If you did a hard reset at some time then you may have confused your STB and another controlled full reset will be required to restore normality. That's the only clue I have if the HDD has worked before in other images coz you are the only person I have read on forums with this issue.

If you want more specific help then you will need to provide more specific details as to what your problem is with more concise setup information.

The forum spellcheckker is a godsend aint it.

When ever i try a new backup with XBMC , If the mounting hdd And the plugins are missing I just do a Filesystem check first and all is well
But i am new to all this, only about 3 months so you know the one, try all
And with all DirtyDonki backups & others, Thanks guys, I'm picking things up as i go

It now says: finished, remove usb, delete cfe and reboot.. what does it mean by delete cfe? I've tried removing the usb and rebooting but it just loads the blackhole screen saver image that it was stuck on before?

I've got your blackhole backup working For some reason it wouldn't install the Vix :S But I'm happy Quick question, how would I go about installing a ccam?

I wonder why you are getting a 'delete cfe' message and wonder if you are perhaps still running the older version? Never personally seen such a message but it could explain why Hades did not flash for you although that might be a load of bollox as well.

Not aware of such being available but what you can have is picons showing in the channel list which would then appear in coolTV as well BUT be warned that depending on where your picons are hosted (USB, HDD, Flash, etc) behavior will be affected. Lag can be experienced from HDD wake up & access USB stick (the slower RW spec the worse).

Sadly, not and I found this out myself when I tried to cheat and flash one of Ten's Solo2 images on to my Duo2 to try to save myself time.

Might be worth asking Ten Below if he intends releasing a Hades version or trying one of the other backups of it.
