VU+ Kodi Support OpenVix Kodi 16.1 RC

Hi all, After some support on openvix image on Duo2. Couple of questions:
1. I have Kodi which is 16.1 RC. Is this the latest version compatable for this box please? As I get a pop up message saying 16.1 is latest version and to upgarde visit kodi.tv

2. The kodi interface picture isnt as sharp as it is on my fire TV, for example, on vu its like SD quality but on Fire Tv its HD, i'm talking about the interface and not quality of streams? Is this normal?

We must content ourselves with the Vu+ version which is the one you have. Until the dev's release an update specific for our boxes it is what it is.

Not sure we can do anything in regard to the SD/HD appearance apart from maybe set the E2 display settings to 1080p or similar (default is 720) but I am not sure it will make any difference to the Kodi i/f. I believe there are settings within the Kodi i/f as well but must admit I have never felt the need to try as I spend so little time looking at the interface.

Fire TV Stick is pretty cool IMHO. Wish now I'd bought another couple during the recent sale. First TV stick that has actually worked perfectly over Wifi for me. Wish I'd bought one sooner.

Thank you for reply. I will continue to use the fire tv until an update comes out for the VU.

Just put on Exodus - Zen - Specto - stream all sources

Install media player.

Then least on Kodi on vu+ you have all the best movie scrapers and handy if you dont have remote.

I have nvidia shield, so in theory not sure why I still use Kodi on enigma 2, but sometimes handy for films if cant be bothered turn on other device hha

Can you put a sep by step on how to put Exodus on solo2 please, and install media player, I'm new to this so would apreciate any help, perhaps there is a tutorial on the forum, somewhere??
