I'd like to introduce Sat-List.com, a free web tool I built to generate and edit satellite channel list files for several decoder families.
What it does
Sat-List.com generates ready-to-install channel list files for:
- GTMedia / Freesat receivers running Mars OS (.sdx format)
- Viark receivers running Forever OS
- Tiger OS receivers (.chl format)
- Enigma2 receivers (bouquets + lamedb)
- The underlying satellite/channel database is checked daily and PIDs are refreshed every day. A public status page shows when satellites were last updated.
After choosing a decoder and one or more satellites, four list modes are available:
- Classic List – one bouquet per category, mirroring the current on-air organization
- Big List – each selected satellite becomes a single bouquet, with the original category names kept as separators
- Channels Only – a flat list with no bouquets at all (Enigma2 only), also using separators
- Editor – full manual customization (see below)
- Once generated, the list is downloaded directly, no login required.
The Editor
This is the part I'd like to describe in more detail, since it's the most distinctive feature of the platform:
- Channels are organized by provider/bouquet, with drag-and-drop reordering of both single channels and whole bouquets
- Multi-select works Excel-style (click, shift-click, ctrl/cmd-click) for cut/copy/paste across bouquets
- Deleted channels and bouquets go to a temporary trash and can be restored to their exact original position
- Users can create their own custom bouquets and move channels into them
- Keyboard shortcuts are available for the most common actions
- The whole session is identified by a short 10-character code; the configuration is saved server-side for 90 days, so a session can be resumed later, or shared via the code, without needing an account
- I've written a step-by-step guide covering the Editor in detail: https://sat-list.com/guide/editor. Worth a look before diving in, since this kind of drag-and-drop bouquet editor doesn't seem to be available anywhere else right now.
I'll be happy to answer any questions.
