hello,
the box is vuplus uno 4k se and the image is the latest of open blackhole. i have silver remote control with usb sitck bluetooth. the problem is that when i press on the mute button and volume of the sound +/- dont work although when i press on the bttons of the remote the light is red. the other buttons functioning good

Volume +/- only works when mute is set to off. So if mute in on vol +/- do nothing at all.

This is by design & has never been different as far as I know.
 
how can i set mute to off or on? the bar info of volm+/_ doesnot appear on the screen and no sound i can control the sound through webif. i use different images the same thing

usb stick is for uno4k and solo4k is that suitable for uno4k se or has different usb bluetooth stick?

OIC not a Vu+ remote then? If so then unless there is a "learn" function you might be unlucky.

Why not post a picture & make & model of your "silver remote control"? :ok:
 
the image hangs and all buttons dont work. i use different images the samething

I have the back version of this remote which came with the box. It works perfectly fine but there was no dongle. So I assume mine is I/R & not Blue Tooth. That said I would expect an I/R remote to be limited directionally but mine does not appear to be unless which makes me wonder. I digress.

I do not have experience of using blue tooth on Vu+ but I do on Gigablue & can tell you it does not work as it should. Blue Tooth is very limited range wise. You have to be close & signals are easily disrupted by other devices. So not sure you are going to have a lot of luck. There is, of course the possibility that the remote is faulty & I assume the batteries are OK. Sorry if it's a silly question. Also does the remote not work over I/R without the Dongle inserted?
