Sky launches new loyalty scheme where longest-serving customers can get free broadband upgrades, Sky Q and early access to TV shows

There are four tiers of memberships based on how long a customer has been with Sky - Silver, Gold, Platinum and Black

SKY has launched a loyalty scheme today offering long-serving customers free broadband upgrades, Sky Q and early access to TV shows.

The new rewards initiative – Sky VIP – will also offer free tickets to sporting events such as the Premier League and preview screenings of the latest movies.

It will also allow customers to enter prize draws for “money can’t buy experiences” such as the chance to visit filming locations of Game of Thrones.

Sky users are being urged to join Sky VIP by downloading the My Sky app to discover rewards available to them.

Those who join will get a free Sky Store movie – worth up to £13.99 via Sky’s Buy and Keep.

Customers who have been with Sky for longer than 15 years will be able to access a new preview channel Sky Atlantic VIP and get a free set-up for

– which allows users to record up to four things at once and offers viewing in up to five rooms.

There are four tiers of memberships based on how long a customer has been with Sky – Silver (0-3 years), Gold (3-8 years), Platinum (8-15 years) and Black (15+ years).

Each tier gives even more new benefits, as well as access to the rewards in the previous levels.

Customers who’ve been with Sky for more than 15 years will be able to access all of the exclusive rewards and benefits on offer.

Sky VIP was developed following extensive customer research and feedback, which revealed customers are looking for a variety of rewards.

Stephen Van Rooyen, Sky’s UK and Ireland Chief Executive, said: “The launch of Sky VIP is about putting our existing customers first and showing we value their loyalty.

“This isn’t about tactical deals or collecting points – it’s about offering genuine experiences and benefits we know our customers value and which only Sky can offer.

“That’s why we are gathering every single ticket that we have from our sports partners and giving them to our customers, alongside free tickets to exclusive film previews and money can’t buy experiences.

“And for our most loyal customers, who we know want the latest kit and best possible service, we’ll be offering access to our best technology as well as priority customer service.

“But it doesn’t stop there – this is only the beginning as Sky VIP will keep expanding, with more benefits and rewards to be added in the coming months.”
