In the course of announcing its half-year figures, Sky announced the launch of Sky Store in Germany. This would not only place Sky on subscriptions, but also offer movies and series for single-shot.
With "Sky Ticket" or its forerunners, Sky has been able to view content for a long time, even without long-running subscriptions. In the future, Sky wants films and series to offer also to all those to the single-shot, which have no duration contract with Sky. In the UK, Sky is already operating the "Sky Store", which is now also to come to Germany.
Corresponding plans were announced by Sky as part of the presentation of its quarterly figures. The company has not yet mentioned a concrete date for the start of the "Sky Store" in Germany, but it is planned to do so in the course of the year. In the UK, Sky offers films and serials, both in individual sequences as well as series, for purchase or temporary rentals.

Mit "Sky Ticket" bzw. seinen Vorläufern lassen sich schon seit längerem Sky-Inhalte auch ohne langlaufende Abos ansehen. Künftig will Sky Filme und Serien offenbar auch all jenen zum Einzelabruf anbieten, die gar keinen Laufzeit-Vertrag bei Sky haben. In Großbritannien betreibt Sky bereits den "Sky Store", der nun auch nach Deutschland kommen soll.
Entsprechende Pläne kündigte Sky im Rahmen der Vorstellung seiner Quartalszahlen an. Einen konkreten Zeitpunkt für den Start des "Sky Stores" in Deutschland nannte das Unternehmen bislang noch nicht, irgendwann im Lauf des Jahres soll es aber soweit sein.
