I have had a VU Solo2 SE for a year, it was setup for me. So, I am a total novice at this, so would appreciate pain English instructions.
Yesterday when I click on the PVR button systems says "your receiver has encountered a software problem and needs to restart....."
But after the restart I click on PVR button again and it does exactly the same thing, a restart.
Before it started getting Software Error message and restarting, I was looking for a programme in PVR and accidently clicked on an arrow button on the handset, which took me to another path in the PVR, and in trying to get back to the place where my recordings are listed is when this repeat restarting started happening. I have no idea how to fix this, so would appreciate you assistance.
Thank you.

Great that you have told us of the problem and which receiver you have but without knowing which Image you are using it is hard to tell you exactly where to look for your recording paths.

Here are some clues that I hope will help you.

On OpenSPA it can be located:
Code:
Menu-Setup-System-Settings Paths

I would also suggest opening your device manager and doing a file system check. On OpenSPA it can be located:
Code:
Menu-Setup-System-Device Manager
upload_2017-1-15_13-8-34.png
Select Mounts
upload_2017-1-15_13-7-54.png
Select Check

The 'Default movie location' is /media/hdd/movie/

Regarding the code to Device Manager, I can get as far as 'Menu - Setup - System, then I get a list of;
A/V Settings, Auto Language Selection, Customise, Channel Selection Settings, EPG, Front Display Panel, HDMI CEC, Input Devices, Keyboard, Language, Logs, Network, Software Update Settings, Recording and Playback Settings, Storage Devices, Subtitle Settings, Timeshift Settings Time Settings, User Interface, Remote Control Code, Temperature and Fan Control. So there is not a Device Manager option.

Other that pressing the 'PVR button on the remote, is there another way to get to the path; /media/hdd/movie/ ?

Thanks.
